New York Times: Sunday Edition
Today I read the NYTimes Wedding Announcements (ala Sex and the City's Charlotte York) for the first time..my favorite blushing bride was Nicole Bouknight.
"the director of individual giving in the office of fund-raising and communications at the New York Academy of Medicine, a civic organization dedicated to urban health issues. She also works in Bloomfield, N.J., as an interior decorating consultant staging homes that are for sale."
I was hoping she was a Delta Zeta (she went to Miami U. of Ohio, where my sorority was founded) but alas she's a lovely Delta Sigma Theta so I cant claim her!Check out some adorable mentions when you click "READ MORE"

Fabulous Foodies: Breakfast of Champions
Over the weekend I was introduced to an amazingly simple solution for breakfast on-the-go.
My cute little puppy Bradley Superstar is still adjusting to our move from California to DC and to punish me for uprooting our lives he has decided we should go for a walk hours before I actually have leave the house; So I walk him...at the crack of dawn, go back to sleep for 3 hours, THEN get up, leave the house and realize I'm starving!
This is where The Smoothie comes in...it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, you can enjoy it while you walk the dog, and by adding things like Flax Seed, you can get way more nutrition than any breakfast sandwich can provide.
What you'll need:
1. At night cut up the fruit (for strawberries simply rinse them, cut the green leaves and top off, for mangoes remove skin and cut into slices) and freeze each fruit separately
2. In the morning put the following into the blender:
4. Stir mixture
5. Blend on low using puree setting for an add'l 30 sec if needed
6. Pour into portable tumbler
7. Sip while walking the dog and enjoy!

I think I'm pretty transparent, but according to my horoscope I'm not open enough...
Do you agree? Are there questions you are dying to have me answer?

Virgo "Your words draw quite an audience. Though you are probably expressing more of yourself than you have in a long while, the receiver might not get how vulnerable and open you are."

Beauty: 3 Stooges haircut
Has anyone else noticed a disturbing new hairstyle? In an attempt to stay relevant, "The Moe" has been cropping up on pop music stars such as ex-Danity Kane member Dawn, Rihanna and the queen of ridiculous hair Kelis. What do you think? Is "The Moe" avant garde or asinine?

Shop-Til-You-Drop: Mulberry for Target
I discovered the brand Mulberry in the back room of a counterfeit hangbag shop overseas almost 5 years ago. I've been obsessed with the well made English bags ever since so naturally I was delighted to hear that Target will launch a line of Mulberry bags on October 10th. If this designer handbag collaboration is anything Anya Hindmarch for Target we are in for a deeply discounted treat!
The Mulberry for Target line will be available through December 24.
