Destination DC (CB2 Georgetown Opening)

As a participant in DCWEEK 2011 I was invited to the VIP store opening for CB2 Georgetown on Friday April 29 from 7pm-9pm. The event was amazing! I've never seen a bar as OPEN as their's and the music by DJ Spider had everyone grooving, even the photographers hired to take photos for an exclusive Georgetown only catalog. Check out my pictures of the event!

Katherine Middleton (left) pictured in her wedding dress (designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen) with train held by 27-year old sister Pippa Middleton (also in Sarah Burton for McQueen). Katherine's dressing growing on me, but i LOVED Pippa's gown!

The Beckhams were in the Royal house! When the news cameras spanned the audience in the church NO ONE WAS SMILING...now we know where Victoria gets here sourpuss from!

Happy Easter from the White House

The White House Easter Egg Roll was star-studded this year...
Kimora Lee Simmons in all her fabulosity, her husband, ex-husband and kids were all there; as well as the Fabulous Mr. Smith (Will that is) and his brood.

I was glad to see so many black celebs and their kids running around the White House, especially since the Easter Egg Roll has been a bone of contention among black families who were not allowed to attend in the past.

I do have to say I've never seen an Easter so dressed down. Where are all of the frilly Easter frocks and lacy socks and patent leather shoes? Even the Obama girls looked too casual for my taste.

What do you think?

FLOTUS was wearing Tracy Reese

At least the President wore a tie

I think she's bored with the casual outfits too!

Wouldn't Willow Smith's brother Jayden and Malia make a cute couple?

Somebody's using their FlipCam, while they're still available!

What I Wore: tip to toe

I had a case of the Mondays so yesterday I took a mental health day, but today I'm back and refreshed (sort of) and ready to face the work week. I'm putting my glitteriest foot forward!
