Best Dressed

Who doesnt like to play dress up?

I stopped by Carine's Bridal Atelier in Georgetown to do just that.

I visited the boutique bridal salon, located near the "social" Safeway, to check out the amazing selection of evening gowns left over from their recent Evening Wear Sale. While I was there I swooned over the stunning selection of jewelry available to purchase or rent!

Wedding Belles...I also spotted some amazing mother of the bride gowns and incredible wedding dresses. Right before the buzz over New York Knicks baskeball player Jeremy Lin had begun, myself and another blogger, Vivi from Heart | Print | Style, took in a Wizards vs. Knicks game here in Washington, DC.

The Wizards lost, but Lin's performance was worth the price of admission!

The World's Best Massage

I've had some amazing massages in my lifetime...what can I say, I enjoy a good pamper party!
I've had a Thai massage IN THAILAND, a hot stone massage IN NAPA and countless others over the years; but the experience I had at The Women's Club in Chantilly, VA can only be described as the best massage of my life and luckily it was right outside of the beltway!
FITNESS CENTER A few months ago, I attended a lively 30th birthday party at this Ladies-only gym. The party included a hilarious Zumba class, massages in the gym's Spa and lots of special attention from the Women's Club staff.
First up was the Zumba class, after getting sweaty (and silly) we hit the showers...loved the polka dot furniture in the locker room...and then it was time for my massage. I sat in the warmly lit Spa Room and read celebrity gossip magazines until it was my turn. I had been late (I got stuck in the Occupy DC traffic leaving the city) and completely missed my earlier spa appointment, but the W…

Engaged 2012 (Recap)

Over the weekend I covered #Engaged2012 a luxury bridal event where brides (and their entourages) are shuttled between four historic DC hotels to mingle with wedding professionals (planners, catering directors, photographers, bands, etc.) and check out the latest in wedding trends. No I haven't gotten engaged (although I am currently accepting offers ; ) but I couldn't pass up the chance to experience an event centered around the most important dress you'll ever wear! --- Learn more about Engaged! magazine at

How Was Your Day?

I recently spent the evening with Indigo at Tracy&Co. salon. She treated me to a manicure (Lilac: He's So Into Me by Ginger+Liz and Green: Pretty Edgy by Essie buy it here) and then introduced me to my newest obsession...macarons
Not macaroons, which I'm very familiar with, but French "meringue-based confectionery made withegg whites, icing sugar, granulated sugar andalmond powder" filled with buttercream. SWOON!
We got ours from The Sweet Lobby on Capitol Hill in flavors like coconut, mint and salted caramel. I don't know the calorie content, but since I pretty much ate the entire box I don't want to know!
Don't you just love French culture? They are dog-friendly, they dress impeccably, and the food! Would you all still read my blog if I moved Bradley and I to Paris?
